    and may also appear in the library pages on this website
    in addition to online anthologies.


    AUTHOR'S GUIDELINES

    1. Entries must be the writer's own work and not currently under consideration elsewhere.

    2. Work will be typewritten, in double spacing on A4 paper. For emailed entries attachments are acceptable providing the above guideline is followed.

    3. Stories should not exceed 2000 words for each story.

    4. Authors names, or noms-de-plume, together with an approximate word count, must appear on the cover sheet. MSS cannot be returned so we advise you to keep a copy for your records.

    5. The winners will be notified by post or email and announced in the next available issue of WORDS Magazine. All other entries may be submitted to other publications two months after the closing date(s).

    6. Entries should reach us on or before the closing dates above.

    7. Authors may send as many entries as they wish for each competition.

    8. No entry forms are necessary for any of the above competitions.

    9. Email entries should be sent as single files and ideally saved as either .doc or .txt files (if you use Word 2007 please save in compatibility mode)and please securely staple all entries.
